I'm Mentally Regrouping & Curious
I'm taking some time off to plan upcoming articles & episodes—so please complete this quick reader/listener survey.
Last week, I wrapped up Strange New Work, which was a series I’d been working on in one way or another for the better part of this year. Or maybe, the better part of my life!
When I finished the final installment, I realized I didn’t know what I wanted to say next. That doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of things I want to say—more that those things are lacking form. So this week, I’ve been playing around with ideas and reveling in research mode. The results of all that will grace your inbox very soon.
I’ve also been planning how to approach my next series (on the intersection of higher education and work), which probably won’t come out until January 2024.
As I regroup, I’d love to learn more about you. Since moving to Substack, readership has grown significantly, and I have a hunch that “who” is in the audience has changed a bit, too.
I’ve put together a short anonymous reader/listener survey. It’s just 10 quick multiple-choice questions and 3 open-ended questions.
I’ll be back next week with the 14th edition of This is Not Advice for premium subscribers and an update on a piece from the archive for everyone.
Lastly, if you’d like my help on thinking through a work or business challenge ahead of your 2024 planning, it’s the perfect time to book an Insight Intensive. Or, if you’re looking for help with your podcast, YellowHouse.Media currently has production openings, and we also offer strategy sessions for podcasters who are looking for outside guidance.
Intrigued about the intersection of higher ed and work!
